I signed up to be a photographer for the Geek Girl Con and shot my first event for them last Thursday at the Sunset Tavern in Ballard. The show featured Jonny Nero Action Hero, Press Start to Rock, and Death Star. I pulled my favorite shots and posted them below. I am very excited to share these images from a recent shoot for local boutique Design Theory! The shop is located near Whole Foods downtown, and has the largest jewelry selection I have ever seen. The owner, Alyce, did a wonderful job organizing the photo shoot. Her vision of edgy images combined with the lovely backdrop of the Pan Pacific Hotel and a great crew made for an epic shoot. Thank you to everyone involved!

My newest toy is the Holga Wide Pinhole Camera. This is my first time shooting with a pinhole camera, and I have been having fun playing with the wide angle format. Here are shots from my first roll.

My newest obsession is a little plastic Holga camera that I recently picked up. It takes medium format film and yields some surprising results. I love the strong vignetting and occasional light leak that are trademarks of this camera. I can't get enough of my little plastic fantastic, and these are just the first of many images to come.

I usually don't mind the rainy Seattle winters, but this past week has been ridiculous! Here is an image from sunnier days. Come on spring! yellowstone series

A few months ago I was enjoying an amazing brunch at A Caprice Kitchen in Ballard and noticed the rotating art. I sent in an inquiry and was invited by owner and chef extraordinaire Anne Catherine to show my Yellowstone Series this month. The images are now up, and will be there until early next year. Here are directions to the restaurant. Not only is the food mouthwatering, it is made using all local ingredients and features a rotating seasonal menu. Check out the rave reviews at Yelp.
